The Calhoun County Board of Education intends to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption for Calhoun County School System.  All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this matter to be held at the Calhoun County Board of Education, 18772 Hartford Street, Edison, GA 39846 on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 4pm.

Times and places of additional public hearings on the intent to opt of the Homestead Exemption (HB581) are at the Calhoun County Board of Education, 18772 Hartford Street, Edison, GA 39846 on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 6pm and Monday, February 10, 2025 at 5pm.
